Chhattisgarh Election: Dhandhuka Assembly Constituency 2022

In the 2017 Gujarat Legislative Assembly Election, there were 16 candidates in the fray from Dhandhuka constituency. Dhandhuka was one of 77 seats won by the Indian National Congress. It was a close contest with Indian National Congress's Gohil Rajeshkumar Harjibhai winning the election upstaging Bharatiya Janata Party's Dabhi Kalubhai Rupabhai by a margin of just 5,920 votes.

The top two candidates split 92.4% of votes between them. Indian National Congress's Gohil Rajeshkumar Harjibhai got a total of 67,477 votes, while Bharatiya Janata Party's Dabhi Kalubhai Rupabhai secured 61,557 votes. Communist Party Of India (Marxist)'s candidate Gorahva Vinodbhai Shivabhai secured 1,953 votes to finish at the third place. The top three parties got 48.3%, 44.1% and 1.4% respectively.

In Gujarat Assembly election 2012, Bharatiya Janata Party's Kolipatel Laljibhai Chaturbhai outperformed Indian National Congress's M M Shah by 28,277 votes.
